• Remove the Reflective Housing: Use your phillips head screwdriver to pry the colored lens off of the brake light, and unscrew the bad bulb.
• Prep the New Bulb: If you’ve never learned how to replace a brake light from an expert, you might not know that it’s smart to apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the end of the new bulb.
• Screw in the New Bulb: Once it’s prepped, you can simply screw the new bulb into place.
